Identify Successfully Employs RFID to Handle Seminar Having More than 2,000 Attendees
Identify is selected by Islamic Bank to implement RFID Seminar solution to handle the event registration task for 2,000 people. Islamic Bank of Thailand has organized yearly seminar being call “iBank Get Together” for all 2,000 staff. Previously, Islamic Bank employed bar code technology to do the registration
process. However, it is proved that bar code technology fails to handle the seminar with high volumne because it needs a line of sight and a reliable network system.
With Identify RFID Seminar Solution, each attendee will have a passive RFID card. His key information including name, surname and etc. will be stored into the card. Besides, several self-check in stations are installed at the entrance of the hall. Before entering the seminar, each attendee just has his RFID card read by the reader at any self-check in stations. Once his name is displayed on the monitor, all registration process is completed. This system can speed up the registration process from 20-30 seconds to only 1 second per one person. Additionally, this system can provide accurate information on who joins which session.
