Managing textiles items such as uniforms, bed sheets, towels, floor mats is a challenging task.  It needs repeat manual counting and results in inaccurate stock and risk of cross contamination when contacting with soiled garment. Realizing the above problems, IdentifyRFID has developed a RFID Laundry Management by combining RFID and cloud technology to enhance the tracking process of this asset.

  • RFID Tag

RFID Laundry tag is sewn into individual item.  This tag is specially designed for laundry industry. It can withstand washing, ironing and washing chemical.

  • RFID Reader

Gate RFID readers are installed at the strategic stations such as outbound and inbound area.  While mobile readers are designed to read RFID tags for physical check. These devices are connected with cloud based software.

  • Software

Our Laundry Management is cloud-based management platform which combines software, RFID technology and cloud service.  With RFID technology, the software can accurately track linens, uniforms and other textiles assets and eliminate labour intensive process.  Being  cloud-based software, the software is offered Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).  It can reduce cost of ownership, eliminate the hassle on server and software update.  This also enables remote configuration and monitoring.  It provides real time data entry and a dash board report to gain full picture on the inventory on these assets.

RFID Shielding

RFID Label – Temperature Sensor

Monitoring temperature in data center room is one requirement for any data centers management. With RFID technology, monitoring temperature can be operated easily. Presently, there are many RFID labels which are embedded with sensor temperature. We, IdentifyRFID, have extended the application of temperature sensor RFID label to data center besides cold storage. A RFID temperature label is attached in the data center. A staff just uses his mobile with NFC technology to read the RFID tag. The current temperature will be displayed on this mobile phone immediately. This process can reduce manual data entry and ensure that the staff will get the information from the assigned server room.
