Monitoring temperature in data center room is one requirement for any data centers management. With RFID technology, monitoring temperature can be operated easily. Presently, there are many RFID labels which are embedded with sensor temperature. We, IdentifyRFID, have extended the application of temperature sensor RFID label to data center besides cold storage. A RFID temperature label is attached in the data center. A staff just uses his mobile with NFC technology to read the RFID tag. The current temperature will be displayed on this mobile phone immediately. This process can reduce manual data entry and ensure that the staff will get the information from the assigned server room.

Encoding bar code into RFID tag can be a simple task with the new RFID reader. This RFID reader is equipped with two USB cables. The first one interfaces with PC while the second cable is designed for any bar code scanners. The encoding task can be done easily with this reader. Simply scans the bar code and places the RFID tag on the RFID reader, the bar code ID will be automatically encoded into the RFID tag. This process can be done without any software development.

NFC Temperature Tracker is a portable powered smart sensor that tracks and stores temperature readings. The NFC tag can be read locally by radio frequency identification (RFID) readers, such as mobile phones, or export the data for analytic purposes. This NFC tag provides low-cost temperature monitoring.
This NFC tag contains a precise temperature sensor, digital storage, a flexible battery, and supports NFC. The sensor is also configurable — enabling frequent measurements for detailed logging or longer intervals to provide logging for extended periods — and can be calibrated to a customer’s application needs. The tracker can communicate with a variety of NFC devices using an application on consumer mobile devices or industrial equipment to read the complete logged history recorded on the tracker. Even after battery life has drained, the tracker can still be used as a passive temperature sensor label, providing the present ambient temperature. The entire memory content, including the measurement values, are still fully accessible, eliminating the risk of data loss and enabling further applications even after the data-logging capability has stopped.
The water-resistant sensor is easily attached with an adhesive backing that can be affixed to various surfaces. The front side of each label can be graphically personalized for specific customer branding, can be printed with offset CMYK and/or Pantone colors, and comes with a protective surface for enhanced protection against harsh environments.

Reusing RFID tag is one requirement for several RFID projects. However, reusing RFID tag always comes with lower security. Because such RFID tag must be designed to be easily to take out in order to re-attach to new items. Identify offers new type RFID tag which is designed to support tag reusing while not lowering the security. This RFID tag is complied with UHF RFID. It can work with any UHF RFID readers. Additionally, it needs a detacher to detach the tag. This can ensure that the tag will be removed at the right station ONLY. See below VDO for tag detail.

Attaching RFID tag to individual item can be trouble for some items such as screw or liquid product. However, this is not an obstacle for using RFID technology. Identify has development a RFID solution for those items that are unable to attach RFID tag. We employ RFID sensor to manage the inventory of these items via the pressure. Using the level of pressure on RFID sensor tag, our software will calculate the quantity of such product and translate this into inventory level. The inventory of such item can be monitored in real time with minimum human input.

Although both EAS and RFID technologies use radio frequency, normal RFID tag cannot work with EAS gate alarm. This is a limitation for those companies who are using EAS and would like to expand to use RFID technology. Identify introduces the new RFID tag to overcome this obstacle.
The new RFID tag can support both RFID and EAS technologies. It is complied with EPC C1G2 standard. At the same time, this RFID tag can work with EAS technologies either 8.2 MHz or 58 KHz. bands. With the dual technologies, this tag can be used as RFID tag to enhance supply chain operation. Simultaneously, it can be employed with the existing EAS reader for security purpose. The tag has various form factors in order to fulfill various requirements.

Besides RFID reader and RFID tags, one essential factor for a successful RFID project is RFID middleware. RFID middleware plays significant part in any RFID projects. The key function of this software is to control RFID reader, to manage RFID reader reading function and to filter RFID tags. This software will filter and send the clean data to any software applications.
With the extensive experience in RFID technology, we found that many RFID projects fail because of RFID middleware. Some RFID middleware cannot manage RFID reader effectively. In addition, some projects need to invest a lot on the development of RFID middleware. This can be a key obstacle for SMEs.
To overcome above limitation, we have developed a RFID middleware on cloud solution. This middleware can work with multiple readers. Now our RFID middleware supports Speedway, Thingmagic (Jadak) and FEIG RFID readers. This middleware is in cloud based so it can connect with any RFID readers as long as they are in the same network. This will reduce the cost on middleware development and also reduce the cost on IT infrastructure.
